So I had another fantastic weekend with Chris. I haven't had a bad time with him yet. On Friday night, we went to the Music Box Theater in Swoyersville to see Evita. We arrived a little early, so we went to a nearby minigolf/arcade place and played a round of air hockey to kill some time. ;) sooo fun! The Music Box is a dinner theater, and the buffet before the show was pretty good. The show was good and the cast was quite tallented. I thought the everything (sets, singing, acting, costumes, etc.) was very good. Chris had never seen the show before and I was relieved to hear that he enjoyed it as well. :)
On Saturday, we went to Rickett's Glen State Park and hiked 8 miles around the waterfall trails. The weather was perfect and the hike couldn't have been more beautiful. I hadn't been out hiking in a long time and it really was enjoyable. I'd go back again in a heartbeat. Afterwards, we went to Wegman's for sushi! It was sooo yummy! What a perfect day. We had planned to go out dancing that night, but Chris's friend wasn't feeling well so we decided to stay in for the evening. We were pretty tired from our hike anyway. Hopefully, we'll go out dancing next weekend.
So for now, I'm home spending some time with my family. They're going to a week-long class so I'll be here to take care of the house. Alan's here now, too. Chris is coming over later to help me cook dinner. haha. I told him he has to teach me how to cook. ;)
That's about it for now.. I guess I'll say that last week I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I thought it could have been a little better, but for what it's worth, I enjoyed it. Out of all the delicious treats in the movie, the one think I'd most like to nibble on is Johnny Depp. ;) And that's all I have to say about that.
Lata!
